Another Week In Obama's War On America

Obama isn't at war with ISIS, the Taliban or the Muslim Brotherhood. He's at war with the Constitution, the middle class, and, ultimately, with America.

For our president, the 2014 election was liberating. There's no longer a need to pretend, for the sake of his party, that he feels anything but contempt for the nation he was elected to govern.

Last week was typical. On Monday, after a grand jury refused to indict Officer Darren Wilson for acting in self-defense, a mob once again rampaged in Ferguson, Missouri. After mouthing a regulation-issue call for calm, the president used the mayhem to push his racist/redistributionist agenda.

While there's no excuse for violence, "we have to understand" the rage of the lynch mob, the leader of the free world told us. "We need to recognize that the situation in Ferguson (black businesses burned to the ground) speaks to the broader problems that we still face as a nation" – like having a president who condones anarchy?

Obama insisted, "There are good people on both sides of the debate" (who are the good people who wanted to crucify a cop for doing his duty?) who want to work with his administration in "much-needed criminal justice reform" – including eliminating mandatory minimum sentences and racial quotas for traffic stops. Attorney General Eric Holder, who never met a quota he didn't like, said Ferguson shows the need for affirmative action in police hiring.

The nation's felon-in-chief is in sync with the petty criminals who loot liquor stores and shoot at police cars. On November 5, he held a private meeting at the White House with the most prominent outside agitators, including Al Sharpton, who disclosed: "Mr. Obama was concerned about Ferguson staying on course in terms of pursuing what it was he knew we were advocating."

The day before Ferguson again exploded, the president gave a speech in Chicago attempting to justify his latest lawlessness. It isn't enough for him to amnesty five million illegal aliens in violation of the Constitution, he has to rub our noses in it.

In his latest bitter-clinger tirade, the president told us that only Native Americans have a right to complain about illegal immigration. Also, concern about border security and national identity are tribalism. "Sometimes we get attached to our particular tribe, our particular race, our particular religion, and then we start treating folks differently... that sometimes has been the bottleneck to how we think about immigration."

So, if you want to limit the influx of illegals – if you're concerned about Americans losing their jobs and criminals coming in with the low-skilled workers – you're a racist pig.

Tribalism is okay when it's the Ferguson mob demanding color-coded justice, but not for a majority of Americans, of all races, who insist that everyone obey the law and that people who want to live in America actually become Americans.

Obama is using "executive amnesty" to help obliterate our national identity.

He wants more and more people living and voting in America who don't speak English, who don't know our history, who care nothing for our traditions, and who don't identify with America. If they were Muslims too, it would be perfect. But he can't have everything.

Providing illegals with services is also essential, to make them docile clients of the welfare state.

In an online chat with Hispanic bloggers last week, Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell said we need to ensure that the newly amnestied will enjoy a full range of benefits "in every thing from health care to economics to so many things."

She assured them that the administration would not ask about their legal status. "Everyone should come on, and folks should not be scared. No questions will be asked and it is not about an immigration issue." Remember 2009, when the president guaranteed that illegal immigrants would not benefit from Obamacare?

Everything about Obama's signature program is a lie. Congress will have an opportunity to probe the lies of MIT Professor Jonathan Gruber, architect of Obamacare, when he testifies before a Congressional panel on December 9.

In a video that recently surfaced, Gruber sneered at "the stupidity of the American voter," for not realizing that Obamacare entailed tax hikes and was, in reality, a giant transfer program – moving income from the healthy to the sick and the middle class to the president's beloved underclass, including illegal aliens.

As he piled debt on Middle America (the National Debt soared from $10.6 trillion to $17.9 trillion), he showers benefits on the dependent class.

During Obama's first term, 11, 133 recipients were added to the food-stamp rolls every day. Debt and dependency are the only things that grow in Obama-land.

On his recent trip to China, the president cut a deal designed to sacrifice American jobs and income to meet the mythical threat of global warming, while it gives an incredible advantage to our chief competitor.

The United States will cut carbon emissions by between 26% and 28% by 2025. China won't even begin to do anything until 2030. Senator Mitch McConnell correctly characterized the plan as ensuring "higher utility rates and fewer jobs." For Obama, those aren't unintended consequences, but essential to his agenda.

Obama thinks the middle class is ignorant and bigoted – a bunch of honky hicks despising people who don't look like them, while they cling to their guns and outmoded churches.

He believes America's success is built on exploitation, at home and abroad. He wants to see the U.S. emasculated militarily, our economy crippled and the nation overrun with denizens of the Third World, who have as much right to be here as everyone but the Indians.

Everything the regime does is part of a pattern. Didn't the lovely Madame Michelle Defarge warn us of the coming cataclysm in 2008: "We're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation." To accomplish this, her husband promised to "fundamentally transform" America.

That's why in Obama-land America is no longer a Christian nation (but Islam made important contributions to our republic), business owners aren't responsible for their success ("you didn't build that"), those who've prospered by dint of hard work don't pay their "fair share" of taxes, whites must pay ad infinitum to right the scales of racial justice, and that those whose families have worked, fought and bled for this nation for generations have no more right to be here than the hordes wading across the Rio Grande.

Obama's ideological imperative even comes into play in such unlikely areas as disease control and Middle East policy.

Among his many accomplishments, Obama will go down in history as the president who brought Ebola to these shores, Instead of instituting a travel ban on Ebola-ravaged West Africa, the president brought patients here for treatment (at taxpayers-expense) and sent our soldiers there to empty bed pans and become infected themselves.

When he's not redistributing the wealth, the president is redistributing the pain. Why should Liberians suffer while Americans have the best health care in the world – for the time being? We need to be good citizens of the world and expose ourselves to the most virulent plague of the 21st century.

Every time the Palestinians commit another atrocity, Obama plays the moral-equivalency card.

Three Jewish teenagers are kidnapped and slaughtered and the president encourages "Israel and the Palestinian Authority" to "refrain from steps that could further destabilize the situation." In Israel's case, that means seeking justice.

When three rabbis and another worshipper are brutally murdered at prayer, Obama reminds us of "Palestinian suffering," and calls on both sides – the victims and the terrorists – to "work together to lower tensions and reject violence."

As he views Ferguson and illegal immigration through the lens of "racial justice," Obama sees Israel and the Palestinians as an extension of the anti-colonial struggle which consumed his father.

Israel is indicted for the same reason that race riots are rationalized and those who care about American identity are mocked.

There's a countdown clock in the Oval Office which tells the president that he has (as of this writing), 703 days, 12 hours, 15 minutes and so many seconds left to (in words he used with a Hispanic audience in 2012) "punish our enemies."

Will his enemies – the American people – take it lying down.
