GAME PLAN 2011

Forever in a campaign mode, both political parties are maneuvering toward the 2012 Presidential election. But first they must successfully navigate through and around the political rocks and shoals of 2011.

Obama and the Democrats will probably strike out on a path similar to the one they took leading up to 2008, which includes doing whatever it takes to keep the news media attacking the Republicans and exalting Obama and the Democrats. America’s once honest and independent news media has now become just another sleazy arm of the Democrat Party.

Logically the Democrats will try to solidify their liberal base, keep their loony left wing from going off on political tantrums and rampages, and continue to blame President Bush and the Republicans for as many Democrat failures and Obama ineptitudes and incompetence’s as possible.  Then, if all else fails, they will blame honest criticism of Obama on white racial prejudice and the party’s political demagogues will run rampant. This strategy worked for them in 2007 and 2008 and should continue to work well in 2011 and 2012.

Unfortunately, the Republicans have no clue as to how devastating Obama’s playing of the race card will be to their ability to win the presidential election. If they did they would act much differently. Because of our nation’s history of slavery and the bitter years of struggle for equal civil rights for all races, religions and creeds, most white Americans have a guilty conscience when it comes to the subject of race and will gladly support and vote for a mediocre black candidate. So Obama can count on getting the white guilt vote and his number of supporters will increase every time he publicly mentions the word “race.”

In 2012 he can again count on getting more than 90% of the black ethnic vote just as he did in 2008, and his numbers of supporters will continue to increase every time he obliquely blames or casts aspersions on the race of those who oppose him. If in the process he can stir up a few ugly race riots he will do even better. In addition, probably 70% of the Jewish vote will warm themselves in his pockets, eat at his table, and blindly vote for him.

The Republicans will probably field five or six middle aged white men and one young white woman. Every time Obama plays the race card in the campaign, which will be often, they will scuttle under the nearest rug and hide there until the “all clear” sounds. None will dare criticize Obama’s race card playing because they will fear the fury of black radicals and the white guilt backlash.

In short, Just as they did in 2008 Obama will keep the Republican Party and its presidential candidates playing defense for the entire campaign. No one will dare make fun of Obama’s gaffs or point out that his middle name Hussein is Muslim.

Anyone who mentions the word Muslim in connection with Obama will be immediately and loudly condemned by the Democrat party and accused of being racist and anti-Muslim.

It has yet to occur to the Republicans that to be successful they will have to replace Michael Steele with another black man. Unlike Mr. Steele, this one needs to be a “take no prisoners,” scorched earth type of proven leader. This is no time for amateurs or for some promising, bright young man or woman who is only in the process of learning how to lead.

There is another approach that could work. Either the Republican presidential or vice presidential candidate could be black. Being an unknown didn’t prove to be a problem for Sara Palin, whom I admire greatly, and it wouldn’t be for a black candidate unless the Republican political bosses made it a problem. Of course the Democrats and the news media will go insane when they catch wind of it.

With a black American on the ticket, the Republican Party would have someone to counter Obama and his continuous playing of the race card. Thus, with most of the racial and political game playing sidetracked, we just might be able to have a real election. And may the best man or woman win!
